allowing them to discover their individuality. Jazz dancing is energetic and
fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns.
Advanced Modern
Modern dance focuses on the serious expression of inner
emotions using a free-flowing, interpretative style rather than following the
rigid rules characteristic of many dance disciplines. Some ballet technique
training is required.
Advanced Lyrical
For dancers with advanced ballet training, lyrical dance
technique involves more subtle and emotional movements. It is a combination of
intricate, highly technical, and naturalistic moves. It is commonly set to
popular music with vocals.
